Peanut Lacrosse Massage Ball Review
I get a lot of back pain due to bad posture and a dodgy side of the bed. I suppose it is what you get for slouching at a desk all day.
I have tried many things to ease the pain including certain forms of exercise but it hasn’t really helped. I have tried massage that helps a little but have never tried massage balls before so when I saw these I thought they were definitely worth a try. I had tried a tennis ball before to no effect.
When these arrived they were nicely packaged in a black drawstring back with the Starwood Sports logo and covered in a plastic package.
The first thing I noticed about the balls was they were of a really good quality covered in a rubber type material. They are a really good weight and at this point I could see the potential of them being effective. The drawstring bag is a bonus as it keeps them tidy and can be hung along with other equipment I have in the gym room.
I asked my husband, ok begged my husband to massage my back with these balls to see what if any benefit I would get from these. To be fair during the massage I could feel the balls getting into the tissue of my back and releasing some of the tension. I felt a little looser and had a little less pain after just one massage which is fantastic. In addition, I used these on my husband after his work out and he was impressed.
The peanut lacrosse massage balls come with a lifetime guarantee so you can rest assured that they are durable and well made.
I would recommend these balls to anyone that has pain that massage could manage but also to active people to aid with recovery and muscle soreness. I can see the potential in these for working cramps out as and when they arise.
As I had not used these before I used a two handed palm roll technique to massage with them. However, I am going to spend time looking at how to use these balls to the maximum effectiveness.
