The REALACC JJRC H36 is a totally fun introduction to quadcopters and makes a great practice quadcopter for beginners so you can learn the basics before you jump into buying a more advanced model.
With a multitude of quadcopters available on the market incorporating on board cameras, VR headsets accessories etc, making the right decision can be both overwhelming and expensive for the more novice user.
The REALACC JJRC H36 Quadcopter is perfect for many reasons, great for kids and adults alike who want the drone experience without the hefty price tags that can be attached whilst also being a great starting point to learn how to fly and perform tricks with a drone without risking damaging an item that costs hundreds of pounds.
So which do you chose? Size generally dictates their ease of use with a common belief being that smaller quadcopters are usually more difficult to fly. Although this is true in most cases, there are some exceptions to the rule with the REALACC JJRC H36 Quadcopter definitely being one of them.
In the box you will find the REALACC JJRC H36 Quadcopter in your choice of colour (red/blue/green/grey) there may be other colour options in the future. There’s a cute matching 6 Axis transmitter/controller that looks like a mini console control pad – used to control the quadcopter during flight.

Four spare propeller blades are a welcome addition and can be easily swapped out. A USB charge cable for the JJRC H36’s removable battery pack is also included.
Reading over the printed instructions supplied you’ll notice they are ok to get you started but don’t expect them to hold your hand if you know what I mean.
Considering its size the construction may seem a little flimsy, don’t let this put you off as it’s a common thing with drones of this size as they need to be lightweight, however, this quadcopter takes a beating. With a flight distance of 30 meters, the JJRC H36 has some smooth moves as long as conditions outside aren’t too breezy. If so, you will find that the H36 may be blown off course during flight, therefore, it is better suited for indoors or less windy days outside and boy the JJRC H36 is ultra fun both indoors and out!
It has four propeller ducts that help create efficient direct airflow improving thrust and lift. They also act as a kind of bumper should you crash into anything the H36 will continue to fly which hasn’t been the case with some others that I have tried.
Setting up the H36 for flight is as simple as connecting the supplied battery pack to the drone then “binding” the quad to the transmitter which is done by pushing the left stick up then down on the controller to engage. The two are now paired and you can start to fly.
There is no on/off switch on the quadcopter and it simply powers up once the battery is connected, it would have been nice to include one but hey. Charging the quadcopter battery with the supplied charge cable will take about and hour and will give you up to 5 minutes flying time. This may seem short but you have to remember that this is common nature. Thankfully replacement batteries can be purchased quite easily and cheaply and I would recommend you get a few to have ready charged so you can swap them out when needed. Controlling the REALACC JJRC H36 is a breeze once you get some practice in, here is where the value of this amazing quadcopter shows with features including:
Two rate/speed modes which can be easily switched on the controller via the left trigger button which can be adjusted depending on weather conditions.
Headless mode makes an appearance which is great for beginners. No need to worry about the drones orientation during flight as once enabled on the controller left is always left and right is always right regardless of the direction your drone is positioned. It is best to have the H36 in front of you before you start. Pressing the right trigger button on the transmitter/controller will put the drone into a stunt mode during a flight where you can perform 360-degree flips in any direction that look so cool in action.

The great thing is that this one will have advanced flyers taking it for a whirl too. Easy controls and great additional features for a quadcopter of this price make it highly recommended.
